History

Retiree Adviser Marketing (RAM) was founded by David Holland and Mike Mastowski in May of 2007. David, who was operating his very successful financial planning practice at the time, realized that he had developed a structured method for running his practice, and for producing financial plans. He had also implemented seminar and marketing tools that he knew would be beneficial to other agents who were trying to meet their own financial goals. David wondered, “Why should others have to struggle like I did? Why should they have to reinvent the wheel, when I can provide them with a System?”…and thus was born the RAM System, a comprehensive CD and DVD library that continues to help good agents become GREAT advisers.

David’s relationship with Mike Mastowski began in 2003, while Mike was working for one of the largest annuity marketing corporations in the nation. Mike actually helped David write his very first annuity…and Mike has often said that he knew right from the start that there was something very special about this ambitious agent.

The admiration was mutual. In early 2007, David proposed that Mike join him in the venture called “RAM.” Before long two offices had been set up, one in Woodstock, Georgia and the other in Ormond Beach, Florida. Administrative staff and coaches were hired – and the company grew and continues to grow at an amazing pace. (The original Woodstock office had to be relocated in April 2009 to a larger office complex with more space for corporate expansion.)

As the company developed, Mike and David knew two things would always be very important to them. 1) They would only be interested in supporting products from top-rated insurance carriers, and 2) That the emphasis would always be on the QUALITY of RAM agents, not the QUANTITY. This philosophy has served the corporation and agents well over the years -- allowing RAM to provide comprehensive, personalized service and support to the people who are most important to them – the RAM agents.
